By myself
I have a friend who always thought it would be good to go to a movie by herself once. I guess to show her independence. I can see where she is coming from...
Well, today, along similar lines, I changed the tire on Isaac's car by myself. I got 2 offers of help, one nice (from a road construction crew filling up their truck) and one not so nice (from the owner/manager of the gas station I was at, who first told me I had to move my car after I had already loosened all of the bolts on the tire and then kept trying to get me to have him do it for $15 - never mind that I was already half way done - I and several others have concluded he was an ass).
I am very proud of myself today. Maybe I will get myself a treat after lunch...
