Escape artist

Dario, our turtle, almost managed to escape his tank last night. He normally spends his days basking, searching the bottom of the tank for something edible and trying to escape. He never really makes it to far in the escape attempts, usually just falling back into the water, but last night, half of his body was out of the tank and he was just about to use his shell as a fulcrum and flip over the side of the tank. Luckily my observant husband noticed and he fell back into the tank when Isaac walked over. It would have been a 4.5 foot fall for the little guy. Guess we're going to have to make a little trip to Home Depot to fashion a lid for the tank...
